Collection: Galaxies Instead of Gouda: Remote Telescope Collection

From Chile to Australia, these images were captured using powerful remote telescopes — kind of like a cheese-of-the-month club, but with galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters instead of cheddar. By renting time under some of the world’s darkest skies, I can chase targets the New York sky will never show me: southern treasures, razor-sharp details, and hours upon hours of pristine starlight. This collection brings together my favorite deep-sky catches from afar: cosmic storms, interstellar “space bacon,” glowing star nurseries, and more — all downloaded from observatories half a world away and processed back home pixel by pixel.
